XRP Reclaims Downtrend Line After False Breakout, What’s Next?
XRP has continuously struggled for the last two years, unable to break free from downtrend resistance and recover any lost gains from the asset’s previous peak. But the altcoin commonly called Ripple has recently reclaimed the downtrend line from all-time high, after a false breakout and subsequent collapse. now that the important level has been reclaimed, what’s next for the number three cryptocurrency by market cap? XRP Reclaims Downtrend Line, Following Record Market Collapse XRP has been among the worst-performing altcoins over the last two years of a bear market. After the asset reached an all-time high in December 2017 at over $3.50, Ripple fell over 90% to just ten cents at the low this past month, following a major panic-driven selloff. Prior to the collapse, XRP had broken out from a down trend line stemming from all-time high that’s acted as resistance throughout the bear market. What Will Bitcoin’s Price Look Like in 2020?
I would say the interesting question here is not the price of BTC, but whether BTC (and other main cryptocurrencies, such as ETH) will be more widely adopted on a long-term basis rather than only for a pure speculative aspect. We do not want to see a repeat of 2018, when users jumped hastily into crypto. I would prefer to see a genuine interest in the technology and its application and an overall appreciation of the utility of the tokens that support the different networks, products and services built upon the public ledger technology. And while most of the altcoins have depreciated in value over the last two years, ERC-721/ERC-1155 based nonfungible tokens have gone up, with some great examples such as Gods Unchained cards doing a 3–4x multiple or Axie Infinity Mystic creatures. Last week, we launched our first round of the LAND presale, representing 2.5% of the game map. The 3,096 available presale LANDS (including those from our partners) were bought by users in about four hours, with 2,123 LAND parcels sold within the first hour alone! Hundreds…

This “Ugly” Technical Formation Could Spell Doom for Ethereum Bears
Ethereum, like Bitcoin and most other major altcoins, has been firmly caught in a consolidation phase over the past few days and weeks, which has led it to stabilize around $130 as bulls and bears both attempt to take control of the cryptocurrency. One analyst is noting that there are a couple technical formations that could allow the cryptocurrency to rally higher in the days ahead, with one of these formations potentially allowing it to bust through a key resistance region. It is possible that this bullishness will be invalidated if Bitcoin is unable to stabilize or climb higher in the near-term. Ethereum Enters Bout of Range Bound Trading as Market Consolidates At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading down just under 3% at its current price of $129, which marks a decline from daily highs of nearly $136, and only a slight climb from lows of $126 that were set earlier this morning. ETH appears to be closely tracking Bitcoin in the near-term, with the benchmark cryptocurrency currently trading sideways around $6,000. Because the entire crypto market is…

How to Seize What Might Be Unprecedented Crypto Buying Opportunity
Although it is true that most cryptocurrencies have experienced significant losses in recent weeks, similar losses have been seen on multiple occasions in the past, and the market has always bounced back stronger than before. The last month has been an interesting time for both cryptocurrency traders and holders, as the cryptocurrency market witnessed one of the biggest crashes in its brief history. As it stands, the vast majority of cryptocurrencies have lost more than 40% of their value in less than a month—interrupting two months of solid growth. Now, on the brink of what some consider to be a potential recession, cryptocurrencies are due for their biggest test yet. Reach Story Is All Wrong
Halo: Reach has been re-released on Xbox One and PC today. Fans of the game are celebrating it all over the internet. As much fun as the game is, the story still just feels slightly wrong. Halo: Reach is back. One of the more popular titles in the Halo franchise has made a return to Xbox and is now available on PC for the first time. Many people are obviously excited about this, myself included. It means we have access to Forge World and Firefight again for a start. Although Halo: Reach is a fantastic game, it does have one element that doesn’t quite sit right: the story. Not that the story is bad, but it sort of completely ignores the already excellent story that was in place for Reach. Allow me to explain. Halo: The Fall of Reach Game novelizations don’t necessarily have a good reputation. Some of them are pretty good, but they mostly fall into the category of poorly put together cash-ins. One exception to that rule is Halo: The Fall of Reach. It was the first…

How A Decline Below $8k Would Put Bitcoin (BTC) In Serious Trouble
Bitcoin (BTC) made a remarkable move to the upside recently defying a mounting bearish pressure. We witnessed a large number of bearish positions being liquidated on margin and futures exchanges during the recent run up. However, we are now seeing a slow down as BTC/USD has broken the patten of higher highs and higher lows within the rising wedge it has been trading in. This has now increased the probability of a decline below $8k. However, a decline below $8k this time would also mean a break to the downside out of the rising wedge which has the potential to trigger a major downtrend. The $7,231 level would be a strong support level for the bears to break but we have seen Bitcoin (BTC) shoot past key S/R levels in the recent past without much resistance. It all comes down to which way the big players want the price to move based on opportunities of liquidations. When the price recently broke past the $7.5k level, it kept on surging higher without any signs of a slow down to run as…

Dow Futures Surge Marginally on Monday in Stock Market Rally
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) futures, as well as the Nasdaq futures and the S&P 500 futures, are moving higher thanks to a number of factors. On account of the United States celebrating President’s Day, the stock market trading remains closed. However, the after-hour trading sessions are still live as major indices surge to continue the market rally further. Today, following the Nasdaq futures and the S&P 500 futures, the Dow Jones futures also showed a modest rise. Currently, all three indices are trading at their record-high valuations as market optimism seems to be at its peak. However, an interesting trend observed is that with markets making record highs, the retirement accounts are booming as well. A new report by Fidelity shows that the number of retirement accounts with over $1 million has hit a new record last quarter. As per Fidelity, it is currently managing over 441,000 retirement accounts with over $1 million. this is 1.6% of the total retirement accounts managed by the financial giant.
